First (past the) post

I wanted to set this blog up to have an archive for all current thoughts and views on topics relating to software businesses, software infrastructure, finance, strategy and investment frameworks as well as psychology. Lots of these perspectives have been built over a 6-7 year career so far in the venture world in both the US (more mature market) and Europe (more nascient market); and built through lots of ups and downs with early and growth stage companies.

Having the ability to go back in time to reflect on views that are memorialised in this archive will be an interesting and hopefully provocative approach to amending and updating my views and also ruminating on what one thought at a certain moment in time. Most of these posts will be longer form reads on a specific topic, though some may be short bursts. I hope the readers (potential entrepreneurs, current entrepreneurs, management teams, other investors, those looking to find their way into venture etc) find some of these ideas helpful, if not at the very least stimulating.
